It Started with a Detour
I didn’t plan to fall in love with travel, a side trip to Paris on a business assignment turned into something else entirely: perspective, permission, and a slow, unfolding obsession.
Since then, I’ve designed my life around intentional movement, visiting 40+ countries in 9 years. Along the way, I learned how to see, how to listen, and how to meet each place where it was and not where I expected it to be.
That’s the foundation of The Itinerant Flâneur: a travel design studio creating custom travel planning experiences built not on checklists, but on curiosity. Not on influence, but on integrity.
This is About More Than Pretty Places
I love a beautiful view. A design-forward hotel. A café where the light hits just right. I don’t believe aesthetics and depth are opposites. I believe the best trips deliver both.
What matters is how you move through a place with curiosity, with context, with respect. The world isn’t your backdrop. It’s your supporting cast. You’re still the main character, but you’re not the only one on the stage.
Travel can be gorgeous, joyful, indulgent and still done well. It can make space for culture and ethics without sacrificing pleasure. It can hold contradictions. So can you.
This Isn’t a Booking Service. Instead, I design custom travel itineraries tailored through my travel design services to how each traveler wants to experience a destination.
I’m not here to book your flights and send you off with a packing list. I’m here to design something that reflects how you want to move, and who you want to be when you get there.
Some clients want every day structured, every moment optimized. Others just want a handful of beautifully chosen recs that elevate the trip they’ve already planned.
